Dumrea farmers protested to demand the unpaid money for their tobacco sales.

The tobacco collecting company owes more than 120 million ALL to 120 Elbasan farmers for the tobacco sold from 2015 to 2016.

Dumrea is known for its agriculture as one of the biggest producers in the country.

The monopoly of the only company collecting in their area was broken before the June 25th elections, when another one was licensed for the same activity.

However, farmers say that the second company is abusing the prices due to the non-functioning state structures.
