Dule meets Greek Foreign Minister

As announced, the Head of the United for Human Rights Party, Vangjel
Dule, met with the Greek Foreign Minister, Evangelos Venizelos. The
topic of discussion with him can only be the new territorial reform of
Albania.

According to Dule, both parties agreed that the territorial reform is a process that cannot be done in a few days. Dule said that his party wants the minority areas to be united, and the minorities must have the opportunity to govern themselves.

He repeated once again the declaration of Athens, made a few days ago, that Albania should fulfill the Copenhagen criteria and respect the Card of Minority Rights.

“If the government will not withdraw, the UHRP will feel excluded from the ruling coalition and will abandon it”, Dule declared.

Last week Dule opposed the unification of the Vlore River villages with Himara and Lukova, claiming that the government wants to use Vranisht as an electoral troop for withholding the local authority of Himara.
