The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, declared on Top Channel’s “Top
Story” that the Investigative Commission, led by the Socialist Party
Parliament Member, Ermonela Felaj, has discovered new facts about a drug
traffic from the air during the time when the country was led by former
Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Rama declared that these facts are
shocking.
“The information that I received before the conclusions are drafted, and which will be made public by the Investigative Commission, has shocked me. It shocked because it proved what I couldn’t believe, that in Albania there could actually be a drug traffic from the air. I am not talking about the regular airlines, but for the fact that our airspace was being used for this activity. This took place when the country was ruled by the gentlemen who were saying that this is possible, that this can happen. Now I am more convinced than ever about how Sali Berisha finds the will to accuse every adversary in the most unjustifiable way for a man that has been president and Prime Minister, with a vocabulary that is not tolerable for a normal Albanian family. He does it, because he accuses them about things he has done himself”, Rama declared for Top Story.
Rama gave this declaration that was reinforced one day later by Ermonela Felaj, Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Investigative Commission, raised after the accusations made for using the Armed Forces for drug traffic.
Felaj declared that they have gathered a huge material that will tell the truth about all the public accusations raised so far.
“These data explain the situation before and after the June 23rd elections. It will explain everything”, Felaj declared.
All details and conclusions will be made public this Saturday.
