Drug map, September with record breaking figures

Police has destroyed around 100.000 plants of cannabis throughout the
country during September, most in Memaliaj and Tepelena, but they also
found near Tirana, Vlora, Permet and Mat.

Police say they have seized a record-breaking quantity of cannabis which had targeted local and foreign markets. Three tons of dried plants were seized in Mat a few days ago.

The total only for September and the first two days of October reaches six tons. 24 persons were taken under police custody only during September.
