Exactly one year after the barbarian murder of Judge Skerdilajd Konomi,
another judge has been threatened with his life by alarming the state
structures and security forces which have urgently approved a defending
program through a special commisison. Judge Ardit Mustafaj will be
protected by the “Brisku” forces.

Sources from this commission, made of representatives from the High Council of Justice, the Ministry of Justice, the State Police and the Court, declared for Top Channel that the Judge of Serious Crimes was threatened through a letter on September ninth.

The letter warns the judge to be careful and not become part of the others, and withdraw from the trial.

Because of the investigation secrecy and the sensitivity of this matter, the sources did not declare the trial in question. But referring to the schedule, Mustafaj has been part of some trials about international traffics and is actually working with a case of drug traffic and weapons.

The most important case of Judge Mustafaj that has had the interest of the media is the “Dajti” case. This trial has three defendants, including Dajti, who is charged of killing four police officers. The former head of the Judge Panel for this case withdrew.

Judge Gurali Brahimllari reported Dajti of offending the judge panel, which has ended at the Penal Court, where Dajti is being trialed for a Penal Act Against Justice, a process that will start on September 26th.
