Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha was asked today whether he would file with the SPAK special prosecutor’s office his accusations that the government is hiding Covid figures regarding infections and victims.
“SPAK does not need me to bring the facts, tell me which of you has not heard of cases of infections that are not reported by the government or cases of death? I do not intend to hide behind my finger or allow SPAK to hide behind my finger. Money is being stolen, health is collapsing. They must start to speak or work because they are not there to swallow the taxes of Albanians”, said Basha.
He further added:
“Should I shut up when Albanians die on the sidewalks? It’s not the opposition who received the money for the coronavirus tests. They were caught with their hands in the bag stealing and leaving people to die on the streets, leaving doctors at the mercy of fate.”
