The chairman of the opposition PD, Lulzim Basha has published a video message for all Albanians, where he talks about the situation in the country aggravated by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In his speech he says that now the second wave of the pandemic has hit Albania and the situation is deteriorating every day.
The leader of the Democrats expresses his condolences to all the family members who lost their loved ones in the battle with the coronavirus.
“It is already clear that the second wave of the pandemic has hit Albania and the situation is deteriorating day by day. The number of those who have died from the virus, those hospitalized and those infected with COVID is increasing tragically. I express my condolences to all the families who lost their people in the battle with the coronavirus. There is nothing more painful than the impossibility to come to the aid of sick and their relatives”, says Basha.
The DP head adds that that the country is in a health and economic crisis, but without any plan for its management. He further stated that hospitals are overcrowded, doctors are overloaded and without the necessary tools to fight the disease. “Albania needs leadership, but unfortunately, that is lacking. The country is in a health and economic crisis, without any measures or plans for its management.”
