DP wins local elections in Kavaja with just 28 votes. Basha: “Victory over crime and gang terror”

After six years, the Kavaja citizens voted a Democratic Party mayor once again.

Isa Sakja received a two-year-long term with a difference of just 28 votes, leaving behind Dorjan Murati from the Socialist Party and Maksim Kona from the SMI.

Sakja thanked everyone who voted him, the people of Kavaja, and promised to unite the electorate and work for every single citizen, from both parties.

Basha commented on social networks, saying that this is wonderful news coming from the capital of freedom and democracy.
