The Democratic Party received with regret, but with no surprise, the
declaration of the US Ambassador, who explained what the opposition was
risking if they would file a complaint for the Vetting Law at the
Constitutional Court.
“We told the DP leader that they risk turning into the party that the Albanian people believe they are against the reform, and that they are protecting corrupted judges and prosecutors”, the US ambassador declared yesterday.
But the opposition will stand to the complaint, and will not even follow the example of the President, who accepted the law in silence.
Top Channel has learned that the Democratic Party will take this law very soon at the Constitutional Court.
