DP: Veliaj, involved in scandals

“The Minister of Edi Rama showed to the public and the Albanian citizens that the private life, quick luxury are their only priorities. The media showed how Veliaj violated the law for the Cultural Heritage by putting a scene at a monument of culture that is being protected by UNESCO. This is a clear abuse that Geraldina Spoza, e wedding company, is passing this as a cultural activity”, Bardhi declared.

She said that by going against the law, the company owned by the daughter of MP Dashamir Peza, who has won public funds in the ad campaigns of the Ministry led by Veliaj, has organized his wedding at her house in Peze. This wedding is full of abuse and corruption”, she declared.

Bardhi asked a reaction from Veliaj, who, according to her, has only stayed silent.

“His efforts to use censorship against the media and to threaten the young protesters show the abuse, luxury and the public loath against this. Veliaj must resign or Rama must discharge him, to show that he didn’t lie again when he said that the Ministers will be fired if involved in scandals”, concluded Silvi Bardhi.
