DP: “Tirana Mayor hires man with criminal record”

“Veliaj has appointed on terrain a person sentenced for intentionally wounding someone. This person has a delicate job that is directly connected with citizens and businesses. Artan Ligori has wounded a woman in 2007. These are the standards of Erion Veliaj, who is blindly following the model of his Chief, Edi Rama”, declared Leonard Olli, chairman of the list of Councilors for the Democratic Party at the Tirana Municipality.

“This is a betrayal to the Albanian citizens, who didn’t vote Veliaj to fill the municipality with people who have wounded others. Veliaj’s degradation in such a short timie comes as no surprise, since he was a false candidate from the beginning. He is simply an extension of the central government and their ties with the crime”, Olli declared.
