Democratic Party MP, Flamur Noka, said this Friday that the Italian
media are confirming the suspicions regarding the surveillance equipment
that entered Albania and that, according to them, is inside the Italian
embassy.

“The Italian media not only are underling the illegal entrance, but they are also raising alarms for its usage without authorization from the General Prosecutor. The scandal has shocked our neighbor. Their media speak about conflict of interests with the company that produced the equipment”, Noka said, referring to “Il Fatto Quotidiano”.

He accused PM Rama of not giving answers to the public opinion, although the matter is getting internationalized.

“The more Edi Rama stays silent, the more the scandal gets deeper, the more the Constitution and Human Rights are damaged”, Noka said.

He underlined that this history needs a thorough transparency and, according to him, this can be done by firing the Interior Minister.
