DP: The company that received most public funds pays for hotel suites of government officials

The Democratic Party is accusing the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, of cooperating with PM Edi Rama to help oligarchs keep up with their money laundering.

DP said that Veliaj has favored the Fusha Shpk company, which, they say, is the biggest receiver of public funds.

“Fusha Shpk has received 145 tenders for a total of 12.1 billion ALL, or 101 million EUR, 85 of which were held with only one competitor in the race”, the DP declared, adding that this company is the one paying the high-prices hotel suites for government officials.
