The Chairman of the Parliamentary Media Commission, Genc Pollo, thanked
President Nishani for returning the law for the Public Radio and
Television.
“I want to thank the President for hearing the voice of the public opinion, the voice of the Union of Journalists, the voice of 156 people who signed a petition, the voice of the opposition and the voice of the Commission of Foreign Affairs at the European Parliament, and finally returned the unilateral law for the public television”, Pollo declared.
“We must not forget that it was the Socialist Party led by Rama which imposed qualified majority as a consensus condition for this law. The majority of that time, the DP, accepted the opposition’s condition and voted the law”, Pollo said.
