DP: “Tahiri was registered at the border with the car in question”

Enkelejd Alibeaj from the Democratic Party accused the Minister of
Interior, Saimir Tahiri, of lying about selling his car one year ago,
since he has been registered driving it in Kapshtica on August 30th,
2014.

According to Alibeaj, this means that Tahiri did not sell his car and it is being used for the drug traffic, and the Minister has been involved in a serious violation.

“The Prosecution should have started a case against the Interior Minister, since he is the one releasing the declaration. Tahiri must leave his post as soon as possible and get investigated”, Alibeaj declared.

“When his car is not used by his cousins Habilaj, known as the biggest drug traffickers in Vlore, it is used by the Interior Minister. This public lie implicates him even more. Even if he has sold the car when it has been seized by the police, he has violated law 320 of the criminal code”, Alibeaj declared.

“It is clear that the car has been sold to avoid the execution of the court order, to obstruct justice. The Prosecution should have already started investigating the Minister, since he was the one making the declaration”, the Democratic Party MP added.
