The Democratic Party returned to the accusations against the Interior
Minister, saying through Party Secretary, Arben Ristani, that Saimir
Tahiri has been involved with the drug traffic.
Ristani brought two operations of the Italian Police, which caught a group that was trafficking 1 ton of heroin from Albania to Italy through small airplanes. The DP General Secretary said Tahiri’s involvement has been documented by the Italian side too, through a recorded conversation.
According to the opposition, the Italian police is working alone and their main obstacle is Saimir Tahiri and Prime Minsiter Rama who defends him.
