The Democratic Party is certain that the government has consumed what
they call “state crime” with the surveillance equipment, and for this
they blame Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“This crime goes beyond Minister Tahiri. It is a direct responsibility of Edi Rama, who blocking the law and the constitution with his mafia style”, declared for the media the General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Arben Ristani.

The opposition is even more convinced about this due to the silence held by the Prime Minister.

“The more he stays silent, the more serious is his violation of the Constitution and of every democratic norm in this country”, Ristani said.

As for the declaration of the Interior Minister on Top Story, Ristani said that he avoided an answer, when he was questioned about when did the equipment enter Albania, and if it is registered.

“He was asked three times on Top Story and he avoided answering by attacking the opposition”, said the General Secretary of the DP.

The Interior Minsiter declared on social networks that the opposition is using the surveillance matter as a pretext to avoid the justice reform.
