DP reports fund abuses with school reconstructions that could have costed lives

The Democratic Party is reporting abuse they claim has been made with a fund of 1 million EUR used for the reconstruction of twho schools in Thumana and Borizana, which were destroyed by the earthquake.

According to the DP, the government has taken the funds to reconstruct the schools and the project was finished days before the earthquake, but now they are completely destroyed.

The MPs of the opposition’s biggest party say that if the earthquake had taken place in a time when students were in classes, there would have been a real massacre.
