Following Prime Minister Edi Rama’s irony on Twitter on DP head Lulzim Basha over the measures proposed by the latter, the DP responded through its Secretary General Gazment Bardhi, stating that the Prime Minister’s irony is concealing his unpreparedness.
In a post on Facebook, Bardhi writes:
“He copies us, and then attacks us! From his 2m-euro villa in Surrel, Edi Rama, unprepared and without ideas, throws some tired jokes on twitter, before adopting the measures proposed by the DP. We told you from day one: we have no problem you taking and implementing the measures proposed by Lulzim Basha, on the contrary. In these difficult times, we are publicly seeking to implement all our proposals without further delay. The battle today is not with the opposition, but with the coronavirus”.
The reaction comes after a Rama post, seemingly mocking the 8 measures published by the DP, in order to manage the situation caused by Covid-19 epidemic.
