MP Albana Vokshi reacted about the Saranda scandal on behalf of the
Democratic League of Women. She asked the authorities to take under
protection the woman and her children, and have thorough investigations
without being influenced by MPs or politicians.

The Democratic League of Women appealed all women and girls to react against these scandalous events, which the rulers are trying to turn into institutions, according to her.

“Rama promised 300.000 jobs, promised welfare for 97% of the Albanian citizens, but the Albanian citizens report each day for psychological violence and harassment in exchange of jobs.

The Democratic League of Women in Albania has reported the unfair firing procedures for more than 2500 women, including single mothers.

The Socialist Party has established an entire parallel corruptive system that offers solutions in exchange of favors.

The Democratic League of Women demands that the mother and her children get protection from the authorities, and the investigations should be thorough and without any influence from MPs or politicians.

Basha: Rama insults citizens’ intelligence

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared on Facebook that those who are responsible for the Saranda scandal not only do not care about the citizens’ concerns, but they also humiliate them by insulting their intelligence.

“Who took in Parliament the man who had been tried for prostitution, and who removed two ladies from the Lezhe list of MPs? What about the kidnapper of a 12-year-old who became leader of the Vlore District Council? “What about dozens of drug traffickers who have been hired in the police?”, Basha declared.

Basha added that the Rama-Meta-Kokedhima government is not the solution, but simply the problem.
