The Albanian Democratic Party declared this Thursday that the Strasbourg Court has been informed about the arbitrary actions of the Albanian government regarding properties, adding that since 2014, Rama has not respected their decision for compensating properties.
“The Albanian government sent Denar Biba (former CEC Chairman) as a messenger for the property issue in Strasbourg. Rama’s government is determined to make a second expropriation of the Albanian land-owners. Since 2014, Rama’s government has tried to eliminate owners from physical compensation. They approved a law that allows the government to interfere between owners and strategic investors”, Tabaku said, adding that the DP will not allow the legal owners of Albania are expropriated and get paid with the ridiculous prices of Enver Hoxha’s time.
