DP: Rama breaks promises

The Democratic Party declared that the next Prime Minister, Edi Rama,
has not intention to keep the promises made during the campaign.

Spokesperson Laura Vorpsi declared that Rama gave up on the promise for creating a special ministry for the emigrants.

“The Albanian people are understanding each day more that Edi Rama has no intention to keep any of the promises that he gave to the Albanian citizens before the June 23rd elections. Among the many promises from which he has given up, is the establishment of a special ministry for emigration”, declared the Spokesperson of the Democratic Party.

“But that’s not all. Edi Rama lied publicly by declaring that he hasn’t promised this. Edi Rama lied half a million Albanians who work abroad, proving that his only interest is the Prime Minister’s post and not to serve to his country”, Vorpsi added.

“Edi Rama told to the media yesterday that he has confused him with the Cham party. The Democratic Party makes a public question to Mr.Rama today. Have your Mr.Rama declared for the Albanian newspapers in Athens that “we have promised the establishment of a special ministry for emigration, a ministry in which many renowned elements of the emigration will be employed”. The least that you can do today is to apologize to the Albanian emigrants for offending them even before becoming a Prime Minister. You must apologize the media for publicly offending their professionalism and their memory. The Albanian people are understanding each day that they will have as Prime Minister a liar with only personal interests”, the Democratic Party declaration concludes.
