DP: Rama and Tahiri lied

By underlining that employment, children schooling, soft loans for shelter have been guaranteed for years for the families of the fallen officers, the Democratic Party Mp, Gent Strazimiri, asked Prime Minister Rama to respect this obligation and not offend their dignity any longer.

“The life misfortunes cannot be foreseen by law, and the improvement of the legal structure for helping them will never know limits. The only thing that Rama should have promised today, was respecting the laws in act at least for them, and treat them equally, not those who fell during Berisha’s time, and those who fell during their time”, Strazmiri declared.

The Democratic Party expressed interest also for the discharges that are taking aplace at the Interior Ministry, saying that the 70 officials of this ministry have been fired without any legal motivation.

“In the dark, and with a criminal cold blood, the Interior Minister has continued the coded operation ‘end of the public administration’, by violating the law, by offending the human dignity of the employees right inside the state’s office. With this occult operation, with the ‘Partisan Meke’ style, most of the directors and specialists at the Ministry of Interior have been punished in groups. They have been ordered to come at work and stay in their office, and fater that they were called one by one, and have been asked to sign under pressure their acceptance for the dismissal. The Democratic Party strongly condemns these brutal acts of violation of the Albanian law and the human dignity of the state employees and Albanian citizens. The Democratic Party asks the government to immediately stop treating the state employees as collaborationists and discharge them through black lists made in the Socialist Party offices”, Strazimiri declared.
