DP: Prime Minsiter deepens scandal. Rama: A monstrous political lie

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, answered to the accusations of
the Democratic Party about the fact that a 5-year-old girl was held at
the Tirana Police station while her Mom was being interrogated for an
illegal connection at the electric power network.

Rama reacted on Facebook that this is made up by the Democratic Party, and that this is a monstrous lie that is being used politically by the opposition.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the mother wanted to take the daughter with her at the police station, and she was kept in a normal environment. The Democratic Party reacted very harshly, and declared that the holding of the girl at the police station was a violation of the international convention.

“The Ministry of Interior, the State Police and Edi Rama have deepened the scandal in a criminal way, after this girl was held at the Police Statio for more than eight hours. In every democratic country, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior would have been alarmed and would have taken measures against those who are responsible. But Prime Minister Rama attacked the opposition which published this abuse”, declared Gazmend Bardhi, legal councilor of the Democratic Party.

The Democratic Party asked the Prosecution to act quickly and bring those who are responsible to court.

“Since Edi Rama and his Minister show no sign of reflection or of remorse, we will ask the Prosecution to start a criminal prosecution against the police officers and the entire people who were involved in this criminal act. This police that didn’t spare a 5-year-old girl is dangerous, it doesn’t serve to the citizens. It serves politically to the Minister and the Prime Minister. We encourage the Prosecution to move today and set the legal limits of the gang of Rama and Tahiri”, Bardhi declared.
