DP presents judiciary reform platform

The Democratic Party met this Monday with their experts for the judiciary reform.

MP Eduart Halimi declared that the judiciary reform will be based on the fight against corruption and preserving the judiciary independence.

Democratic Party MP Alibeaj declared that their platform has 300 recommendations, 60 of which belong to the Constitutional field.

“The platform completes the documents approved by the reform commission. We are referring to the recommendations of the Council of Europe, the Commission of Venice and international organizations”, Alibeaj declared.

He underlined that the depoliticization of the judiciary system, the review of the position of the Prosecutor General and the status of other Prosecutors is the basis of the opposition’s platform.
