The Democratic Party MP, Gent Strazimiri, reiterated the accusations
against the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri. He said that the Minister
of Interior is involved in a drug traffic with his private vehicle, he
has admitted publicly of having violated the law, hidden assets, and he
is still on his duty. “Can this happen with a Minister of Interior? This
happens with Saimir Tahiri”, Strazimiri declared.
He underlined that the DP proved with facts that one year after the Minister said he sold his vehicle, he is appearing again as the owner of the drug vehicle.
“He is lying. He has not sold the car. We have the insurance police for 2015-2016. This is enough for Tahiri to undergo and investigation and leave his post, but it doesn’t happen because he is the pride of Edi Rama”, Strazimiri declared.
