The Democratic Party has officially opened the electoral campaign for
the June 23rd elections in a meeting held in Tirana’s “Mother Teresa”
square.

In this meeting where most of the Democratic Party candidates were introduced, Berisha declared that his party is entering the elections for the citizen.

“We are opening together the electoral campaign of the June 23rd elections in the blue Tirana. I swear that every candidate is for the citizen. For us, the citizen, his aspirations and interests come first”, Berisha declared, inviting the Albanians to vote for the Democratic Party.

“Citizens are invited to decide for their western model. Today we are free to enjoy a Democratic system, because this was defended in the most powerful gates with the most sublime sacrifices”, Berisha declared.

The Prime Minister added that the Albanians will punish what he called “the blocking heritage”, and will follow the European future.

“The June 23rd elections will give an end to the blockage of the Council of Europe, the Stabilizatio-Association Agreement, the NATO membership. Against the blockage of the visa liberalization. We will vote for Albania in Europe, for Integrated Albania”, Berisha declared and attacked the left alternative.

“We are for a government for the citizen. The other alternative is the alternative that will make Albania work for the government. The alternative of dictatorship, of high taxes and destruction of new jobs. They will push away the foreign investors and will invade those who open free alternatives”, the Prime Minister declared.
