DP on rejection of 3 presidential decrees: Part of Edi Rama’s plan to rob the Albanians

The Parliamentary Economy Commission decided today to overturn the three decrees of the President on three laws he returned for reconsideration.

In a statement to the media, DP’s Paloka said that the overthrow of the decrees is “part of PM Edi Rama’s plan to steal Albanians for the benefit of some 5 oligarchs”.

He emphasizes that “big fish” are behind this, referring to Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister Arben Ahmetaj, while called on the SPAK prosecution unit to investigate and bring the violators to justice.

“For 7 years, the government of Edi Rama has been proven as a government that serves the private interest of some oligarchs and clients of Edi Rama.

“The goal is only one: the unstoppable enrichment of a handful of people, who illegally fund Edi Rama and share with him the country’s wealth, the coastal lands, the Albanian taxes, the building permits, concessions and exclusive licenses in millions of euros.

“Such were the last three laws that the President of the Republic rightly returned for reconsideration, the amendment to the VAT law which favors luxury yachts, the illegal concession of Porto Romano and the unconstitutional law of the payments service.

“All three laws harm the public interest and unjustly enrich a handful of Edi Rama’s clients, and were returned to the Assembly by the President of the Republic.
“But instead of being considered for the sake of public good, the illegitimate Parliament acted as a notary for the robberies with the signature of Edi Rama. Edi Rama’s soldiers, in violation of any minimal parliamentary procedure, overturned the President’s decrees, paving the way for further looting of the country with genuine corrupt acts”, stated Paloka.
