The Democratic Party MP, Flamur Noka, wrote on Facebook that the Albanian Prime Minsiter, Edi Rama, after giving taxpayer money to his friends, has no courage to answer to the accusations directly but hides behind his spokespersons.
“He gave 15.6 mln EUR of Albanian taxpayers’ money to the husband of his sister in law. He gave 17.3 million EUR to Papuli, who built his villa in Surrel. He threatens the Albanian judge in Strasbourg and has no courage to answer but he hides behind Ulsi and Fuga”, Noka said.
Endri Fuga responded this Wednesday to the accusations of the Democratic Party about tenders that, according to them, the government has given to Edi Rama’s friends. “They keep throwing mud against people with multi-million figures, making you feel stupid to just consider answering them”, Fuga wrote on Twitter, adding that the government and the Prime Minsiter are determined to push forward the reforms and focus their entire attention to the people and the work in their service.
The Socialist MP, Ulsi Manja, said this Wednesday that the audio-recording of Denar Biba and Ledio Binaku, four years ago, is just a conversation between friends in a café.
“Yesterday we saw the evidence that the opposition is at its bottom. Denar Biba, a friend of Ledio Binaku, has been mentioned four years later as an envoy of the government for blackmail. Today’s opposition, which used to be in power, knows very well what obligations the Albanain government has, based on the pilot-decision of the Strasbourg Court. The Democratic Party government didn’t take any step about the recommendations made by the Strasbourg Court. The Democratic Party has not responded yet for the recommendations of the Strasbourg Court. DP has not answered yet about the mess that they made with properties in Albania, and yet they dare to ask us to respond about a friendly chat in a café”, Manja said.
