Until Friday, when the opposition’s protest will be held in front of the
Prime Ministry, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, is making
all efforts for mobilizing citizens for a more massive participation.
The Democratic Party made this objective public from Lushnje and Elbasan. This time the opposition leader was in Lezhe, the only district where the Democratic Party took more Parliament Members than the Socialist Party.
By blaming Prime Minister Rama for what he considered a control of the government by the drug cartel, Basha used humor against the Socialist Party stance for the protest warned by the opposition.
“When he was in opposition, the government was to blame about everything. Now that he is in government, the opposition is to blame about everything. They are giving four press releases a day, reading the same material. They are afraid, but why? Because they know that they are against not only the Democratic Party, but because our agenda to remove the drug cartel from power is the agenda of every Albanian”, the Democratic Party leader declared.
This Friday, more united than ever, at 11:00, we will show our determination to the Albanian people. We are here to tell no to the drug, and to tell the responsible, Edi Rama, to leave”, Basha declared.
