DP members in Korca say Lulzim Basha is organizing false internal elections

130 members of the Democratic Party in Korce have demanded to cancel the procedure for electing the new leader.

With a public petition, they say that the farce initiated by Mr.Basha must be declared as absolutely invalid and against the statute.

The petition blames Lulzim Basha for what is considered the biggest defeat in the Democratic Party history.

The 130 members say these elections brought the DP to the brink of dissolution, that’s why they want a real race for its leadership. Otherwise, false elections could cause a new political division with long-term consequences for the party.
