The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, addressed to the Democratic
Party supporters with a message in which he called today’s protest as
one of the biggest in the history of our nation.
“Today we not only held a protest, not only we brought down the symbols of communist corruption that was represented by the bunker in the center of Tirana, but we also opened a new way of freedom, that of a new government that will come through the free vote, unbought, unpurchased”, Basha declared.
The General Secretary of the DP, Arben Ristani, wrote the protest was magnificent and “an entire people rose to protest against poverty, corruption, crime in the administration, and against the cynical and incapable Edi Rama”.
