The DP leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted this Monday for the Waste Import law and gave two strong declarations.
Basha said that the opposition would take measures to block the law that passed in Parliament.
“We will do everything possible, in alliance with the citizens, so that this matter is closed once and for all. We will ask the President to not ratify it. We will request a referendum against the waste import, with the votes of 28 MPs”, Basha declared.
His other strong declaration was that the law approved by the Democratic Party when it was in government, was wrong.
“My personal reflection is that the law that we made for the waste import was wrong, but it had no corruptive interests. We believed that it would be in favor of the public opinion, but the raise of 64.000 people made us hear our citizens”, Basha declared, and said that the DP would ally with the citizens for this matter.
