The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, commemorated today the 95th anniversary of birth of Father Zef Pllumi.
The opposition leader declared on Facebook that Father Zef Pllumi was an apostle that was turning Albania back to the West and that the obligation for us today is not to make compromises with the evil, but rather honor the heritage that Father Zef passed onto us.
Father Zef Pllumi was an Albanian Franciscan priest and writer. He was kept in prison by the communist regime for 26 years. During this time he wrote several non-fiction works, such as “Rrno vetëm për me tregue”, “Live to tell, a true story of religious persecution in Albania”.
