DP leader Basha confirms protest support from international partners

“There cannot be a government without the opposition. There cannot be democracy without the opposition”. Democratic Party leader Lulzim Basha quoted the head of Foreign Affair Commission in the European Parliament to tell his supports that international partners are becoming more aware of the political situation in Albania.
He also quoted part of e letter 6 US senators sent Secretary of State Rex Tillerson asking do intervene because some Albanian leaders are concerned American diplomats or representatives of Soros Foundation are trying to give the incumbent Prime Minister control on the justice system using American taxpayers money.
“This is especially worrying in the light of international reports on growing corruption in the Albanian government and the establishment of organized crime groups and drug trafficking”, Basha quoted the senators.
Basha insisted Edi Rama’s government has fallen as the latest Europol reports confirms, defining Albania the main source for cannabis trafficking in Europe.
