DP: “Laws in effect will be implemented for Constitutional Court appointments, until reform passes”

“As long as the justice reform has not been approved, the candidacies
for the Constitutional Court will be selected by the laws in effect”,
said the Head of the Parliamentary Group for the Democratic Party, Edi
Paloka, after a meeting with President Bujar Nishani.
The President is meeting with the Parliamentary Group leaders, regarding the candidacies presented for the Constitutional Court members.
“The president updated us with the candidates. We don’t have any preference or opposition. The criteria were all implemented. We need to implement the laws in effect as long as the justice reform has not passed yet”, Paloka said.
