After the Albanian Defense Minister, Mimi Kodheli, declared on a live
interview on Top Channel’s “Top Story”, hosted by Sokol Balla, that the
investigation was closed over the accusations for drug traffic with in
military airfield, the opposition reacted by saying that the
investigation is not closed and that they will go to the end of it.
“Declaring that the drug traffic has been closed and misusing our allies for this matter, is very shameful. No case has been closed. If they hope to close it with these shameful declarations, they are wrong, because we will make transparency about this. Who is responsible in this government for the drug traffic? The reactions of ministers show that they fear their implication, and they are trying to hamper the investigation. I want to remind you that the Investigative Commission should have started eight days after its approval in Parliament. It was not brought yet, with banal justification that the Chairman of the Commission has not been decided yet, and other pretexts like this”, declared the Head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Edi Paloka.
