The Democratic Party is requesting the creation of another investigative
commission, after the rejection of the one requested one week ago, for
investigating what the opposition considers increased drug traffic in
our country.
Although the request aims to investigate the appointments in the public administration, they have included the request in what they call “appointing of people who were involved with the drug traffic”.
“The drug traffic has increased. This is being done by the fact that the people in the administration have closed their eyes. They have hired people with a criminal history, and this needs to be investigated, so that the Albanian people can see who is governing them”, declared the Democratic Parliament Member, Eduard Halimi.
As for what will be the opposition’s relation with the Parliament after today’s boycott, which was decided after yesterday’s incident, Halimi declared that they will speak in the session and will discuss this matter tomorrow.
