The Democratic Party will internalize the election issue in Albania,
saying that the government has violated the democratic standards by
letting people with criminal records run for mayors, by pressuring
voters and by buying votes.
The opposition leader, Lulzim Basha, will do this in Brussels during the summit of the European Popular Parties.
Basha says he will meet with high leaders of the EU member countries to discuss the violation of standards, which, according to Basha, were also mentioned in the OSCE/ODIHR report.
