DP internal elections, Basha and Selami speak in Lezha

“I accept my responsibilities in this process. My mistakes are all political, because I have done nothing for myself, from the first minute. Nothing for my posts or my power. Everything was made available to common democrats”, Basha said.

The other candidate, Eduard Selami, who also met the Democrats in Lezha, said that the key to revive the Democratic Party is meritocracy.

‘I think that together we will not only turn the DP into a winning party, but we will also turn Albania once again on the path of success. Not only for the region, but even wider”, Selami said.

Selami believes he can give democrats the missing leadership. “I have absolute trust that the democrats are the most progressive force in Albania, a force that generates success and progress. And this has been proven by facts. This makes me proud to be a democrat. I am here with our energy, to make it in this challenge for reviving the Democratic Party”, Selami said.

Basha insisted to reunite democrats against a force that chose to buy votes for a new term.

“All factors united in Kavaja and for the first time after eight years, the Democratic Party one in the city that was being ruled by the gang of Ervin Rroshi. The money of corruption was being used from Arben Ahmetaj, paying huge amounts, up to 100.000 EUR for 40 votes in Stan te Ri”, Basha said.

Both candidates believe that reinforcing the membership with good decisions will be a guarantee for the victory of democrats.
