DP: Ilir Meta must resign. Prosecution must investigate

The opposition declared that what is happening within the majority is a
mafia show, with the Parliament Speaker, the Prime Minister and
Parliament Members as main characters, who were friends yesterday and
today are being enemies.

“Every Albanian saw today at what level is the incrimination of this government, of the Rama-Meta duo. Crimes, murders, blackmails in this mafia-style theater, with Ilir Meta, Edi Rama, Saimir Tahiri and their trusted Parliament Members today turned into targets as main characters”, declared the DP leader, Lulzim Basha.

Basha requested the resignation of the Parliament Speaker

“The Parliament Speaker is being accused of having ordered the assassination of two members of the Albanian Parliament. He must resign and get investigated with the biggest accusation that has ever been made in these 25 years of democracy. The Parliament cannot be led by people who are being accused of paying to kill two Parliament Members”, Basha declared.

The Democratic Party leader blamed the Prime Minister for knowing the events and not reporting them.

“Today, the very least fact is that we have a Prime Minister who knew about this. But what is really the involvement of Edi Rama, Saimir Tahiri and the other key characters in this story of murder and crime?”, the DP leader said.

Basha said that this is not an interior battle of the majority, but something that belongs to the entire population.
