The Democratic Party declared in a press release that the hospital sterilizing concession is an open robbery by the government, as it costs 80 times higher more.
According to the DP, doctors say that when it was them doing the sterilization, the cost was 2.5 EUR per surgical set. Now that the service was given to a private company, the price is 190 EUR per set, 80 times more.
According to the DP, this concession, together with the one that offers check-ups to citizens, and even the other concession that is used for the labs, are concrete evidence proving the corruption of Edi Rama’s government.
“This proves that the priority of Edi Rama are not patients, but illegal enrichment by hiding behind fake identities guaranteed by Ilir Beqja (former Health Ministery).
