DP holds urgent meeting of Parliamentary Group

“They have done everything possible these 74 days to discourage, divide, scare, buy and sell us, but they have failed miserably”, Basha said.

This was the first time that Basha didn’t mention the technical government, but he had one message for the international partners.

“Neither Albanians, nor foreigners, will ever be able to make me negotiate with Edi Rama for stability without democracy. They must understand that what was created on February 18th is bigger than the DP, bigger than the opposition, bigger than Lulzim Basha, bigger than Albania and Albanians”, he said.

Lulzim Basha held this stance while the US Ambassador, Donald Lu, met with the leader of the Republican Party, Fatmir Mediu, in a new effort for dialogue.

“I think that there are always chances for dialogue, as long as we are responsible that everything is done for what is best to our country, not for power interests”, Mediu declared.

But in parallel, the opposition is preparing to block the elections in Kavaja this Sunday.

“Sunday is a big challenge for this movement”, Basha said.
