The Democratic Party MP, Albana Vokshi, keeps reporting the corruptive
scandals of the Health Ministry. They mentioned this Tuesday owners of
companies that have been arrested for fictive bills, and who still win
bids with the signature of the Health Minister, Ilir Beqaj.
“They receive millions that should go to protect the health and life of our citizens, patients, people with disabilities, pensioners, etc”, Vokshi said, adding that the abuse case is getting bigger.
The Democratic Party MP says that the three latest bids of the Vlore, Gjirokaster and Durres hospital, with a total value of 310 million ALL, have been added to the ones that “Omegafarma” has won a few days ago. “It appears that the Minister not only gave some tenders to Omega, but he rushed to sign the agreement. He gave a message to te owner that he would defend it to the end, in exchange of silence”, Vokshi declared.
Albana Vokshi wanted to remind the Albanian people that “Omegafarma” is under investigation for massive abuse with fictive bills. The Prosecution evaluated that the damage caused by this company for one medicine like “Ketosteril” mounts up to 2.2 million EUR.
“This is why beqaj keeps giving tenders to “Omegafarma”, because he wants to buy with the citizens’ money the silence of the imprisoned owner. If Nadir speaks, there is no magician to make Beqja escape prison”, Vokshi declared.
The MP appealed the Prosecution to deepen the investigations.
