The Democratic Party said that the Ministry of Transportation, Edmond
Haxhinasto, and the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, have both lied to the
public.
“To pretend they are working, they appeared on the ruins of a project that should have been concluded. But works are not going forward because the money has been stolen from the citizens’ pocket, with higher taxes, higher energy price, higher oil price, which is being stolen by government leaders. 1.2 billion USD is what has been stolen in a year”, the DP declaration says.
DP underlines that there is a higher debt of 700 million USD and there is are new investments in schools, roads or hospitals.
