The Democratic Party declared that the flooding situation is unmanageable, despite the efforts of the local structures. For this reason, the opposition asked the creation of a Central Emergecy Headquarters. Citizens in problematic areas were appealed to cooperate with the authorities.
“The Democratic Party asked the Prime Minister to establish the Central Emergency Headquarter and increase the presence of government agencies on terrain. All resourcs should be mobilized to help citizens and the flooded communities. The opposition asks the government to give periodical updates about the situation. We appeal citizens in flooded areas to answer to the authorities for evacuation and other measures. The local branches of the Democratic Party are in constant contact with the residents and will cooperate with the authorities to contribute in resolving the problems. The life of our citizens and the safety of their property has an absolute priority”, declared the Democratic Party MP, Edmond Spaho.
