DP: Fiscal package kills the economy

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, underlined once again the
goal of the opposition as regards the fiscal package proposed by the
government for 2015.
Basha said that the new package increases taxes not only for citizens but also for businesspeople. For the democratic party leader, this means killing the economy.
“It was proven that we weren’t the only ones being concerned for this package. Business owners were also concerned. Every Albanian has to pay 67.000 ALL more than before in taxes. This is unacceptable for us, and an alarm bell for businesses. This means killing the economy and hope”, Basha declared.
The opposition leader appealed the majority to withdraw this fiscal package which he called a huge mistake.
He added that the three weeks for consultation left by the government are not enough.
