The Democratic Party will file a request for Deputy Parliament Speaker
Valentina Leskaj, saying that her mandate as MP has expired. The General
Secretary of the DP, Arben Ristani, said she has been working against
ht elaw from the moment when her son won a concession for the railway.
“The exclusive rights that Edi Rama gave to the son of the Deputy Parliament Speaker is clear corruption that goes against the law. Article 24 of this law says that people tied with an MP cannot sign concessions with any public institution.”, Ristani declared.
“DP will present a request for ending the mandate of MP Leskaj, and will not allow other law violations”, Ristani declared.
