Mondi Bego’s businesses, who is accused by the Democratic Party of having ties with the Socialist Party parliamentary group leader, Taulant Balla, have thrived during the past three years.
Official data at the Business Registration Center show that the turnover of Inerte Express has increased 20 fold in the past three years.
In the 2012-2014 period, the Inerte Express had an annual turnover that was fluctuating from 13 million to 52 million a year.
After 2014, the turnover grew with a fast pace. Official data show that the company made 229 million ALL in 2015, while last year it reached 762 million ALL, or 20 times more than three years ago.
The Democratic Party says that Bego’s business enlargement in the past three years is a result of his ties with the government.
One day ago the DP published documents which, they claimed, show that Bego had taken direct public funds through a government contract.
