The Democratic Party held the conclusive meeting of the electoral
campaign for Kavaja, where Lulzim Basha accused the majority of having a
person with a criminal past running for that municipality.
“He is known outside Albania as a person with two names, two faces and a dark past. Rama said that he didn’t know how his name used to be, and that he had no criminal records. But the press posted an article that he was sentenced for wounding someone with a firearm in Italy and for drug traffic in Switzerland. How will you call him now?”, Basha declared.
The DP leader said that despite Edi Rama’s stance, Kavaja knows that he is just someone sentenced by the justice.
